Frequently Asked Questions
Your Questions, Answered
At New Hope Rising Therapy & Wellness Center, we understand that seeking support can feel overwhelming. Below are answers to some of the questions we hear most often. If you don't find what you're looking for, please contact our office. We're happy to help.
At New Hope Rising Therapy & Wellness Center, we believe that understanding the cost of care should be straightforward and transparent. Our team is committed to helping you understand your coverage, financial responsibilities, and available payment options before beginning services.
Insurance PlansWe participate with select insurance plans and are continually expanding our network participation. Because insurance coverage, deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and authorization requirements vary by plan, we encourage all clients to verify their benefits prior to beginning treatment. Our staff verify benefits prior to scheduling; however, verification of benefits is not a guarantee of payment by your insurance company.
Important Insurance InformationClients are ultimately responsible for: copayments, coinsurance, deductibles, non-covered services, and services denied by insurance. If you have questions regarding your insurance coverage, our team is happy to assist you.
Under the law, individuals who do not have insurance or who choose not to use insurance for services have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of care.
- If you schedule a service at least three business days in advance, you must receive a Good Faith Estimate within one business day of scheduling.
- If you schedule a service at least ten business days in advance, you must receive a Good Faith Estimate within three business days of scheduling.
- You may also request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.

We understand that life happens and schedules can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible. Because appointment times are reserved specifically for you, cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed appointments ("no-shows"), may be subject to a $75 fee. Insurance companies do not cover missed appointment fees and clients are responsible for this charge.
Our therapists reserve appointment times exclusively for each client. Consistent attendance is an important part of the therapeutic process and allows us to provide timely access to care for all clients.

Yes. Your privacy is extremely important to us. Your therapist will review confidentiality policies and limitations with you during the intake process.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it's completely normal to feel nervous, uncertain, or even unsure where to begin. At New Hope Rising Therapy & Wellness Center, we believe that healing starts with connection. The first few sessions are not about judgment, labels, or having all the answers—they're about getting to know each other and creating a safe space where you can feel heard, supported, and understood.
During your first 2–3 sessions, your therapist will take time to learn about you as a person, not just the challenges that brought you to therapy. We want to understand your story, your strengths, your experiences, the people and relationships that matter to you, and what you hope life might look like moving forward.
Together, you and your therapist will begin to:
- Build trust and a strong therapeutic relationship
- Explore what brings you to therapy at your own pace
- Identify your goals, hopes, and priorities
- Recognize strengths and supports already present in your life
- Develop a plan that feels meaningful and personalized to you
We understand that every person's journey is unique. Some people are ready to dive right in, while others need time to feel comfortable opening up. Both are okay. Our goal is to create an environment where you feel safe, respected, and empowered to move toward healing, growth, and wellness. Therapy is not something you go through alone. It is a collaborative process, and we are honored to walk alongside you every step of the way.
